Deeksha is a series of mentoring sessions organized for the first year students to offer them valuable insights regarding various electives offered in second year in terms of functional knowledge, career prospects, placement and grades. These lectures are taken by second year students, who are well-versed in their specializations. Apart from this, it also includes the second years sharing their experiences in their Summer Internship – learning from the projects, content of the project, the various do’s and don’ts etc.
/ MINI-DEEKSHA
JAM – Just A Minute is an annual event organized by XIMAHR specifically for the first year students. It provides a platform where the students showcase their creativity and talent in just one minute. The event tests the spontaneity and fluency of the students. Attractive cash prizes are awarded to the winning team.

Mini Deeksha is first of the two main mentoring programs organized by XIMAHR. It is a guide to the Summer Internship Selection process wherein the seniors share their experiences about the Summer Internship Process with the first year students. It makes the students aware about the various do’s and don’ts regarding the Summer Internship Process. Mini Deeksha facilitates students to go through their summer internship process smoothly.

XIMAHR organizes a series of workshops for students to interact and engage in discussions on various ongoing issues. It provides a platform for the students to cultivate rational thinking and awareness about the various current happenings outside in general and in the industry in specific.

/ CASE-IN-POINT
CIP is the annual event conducted by XIMAHR, during the cultural festival of XIMB, Xpressions, which is generally conducted in the month of November. CIP is a challenging platform where students develop their analytical, comprehension and presentation skills. The participating teams are given cases which they have to research on, explore, analyze, and come up with an innovative solution to deal with problem. Case In Point sees active and keen participation from students who work out and suggest one of the finest quantitative and qualitative solutions to the problems. The event is one of the most sought after event for future HR professionals as they get to learn from experienced professionals who grace the occasion.

/ PRATIVAADA
A successful manager is the one who is articulate, clear in her/his thoughts and can convince others. Prativaada is a debating event organized by XIMAHR, where students from the premier B-schools of India battle it out to prove their mettle. Prativaada is an event where students deliberate on topics of current concern and seek solutions to problems plaguing the current time. Prativaada enables participants to hone their reasoning and cogitating skills, an imperative for HR professionals.

KSHITIJ is the flagship event of XIMAHR. Eminent leaders from the field of HR/IR come under one roof to talk on a topic of vital importance to the HR Fraternity of the country and enlghten the inquisitive minds of the batch. This is an event which tries to build the bridge between academics and industry.
